Description

Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s is a USA-built solid-body electric guitar that sticks closely to the classic early-’60s Les Paul formula. It has a non-weight-relieved mahogany body with a carved AA figured maple top, giving it a thick, warm foundation with extra bite and sustain from the maple. The SlimTaper mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard (22 frets) are designed for fast, easy playability, especially for lead work and bends. Tone comes from dual 60s Burstbucker humbuckers with Alnico 5 magnets, delivering that vintage Gibson sound—warm, punchy, and articulate. Hardware includes a Tune-O-Matic bridge, stop bar tailpiece, Grover tuners, and a Graph Tech nut for stable tuning, with hand-wired controls and Orange Drop caps for traditional response. It also comes with a Gibson hardshell case for protection.

60s Burstbucker Humbuckers

Dual vintage-inspired pickups designed to capture classic PAF-style tone with modern consistency. Expect warm lows, rich mids, and detailed highs, with enough output to push an amp into natural overdrive while still staying articulate and dynamic when played clean.

SlimTaper ’60s Neck Feel

Fast, comfortable mahogany neck shaped for speed and control, especially for lead playing and bends. The bound rosewood fingerboard adds smoothness under the fingers, while the 12” radius keeps both chord work and upper-fret soloing natural and balanced.

Solid Mahogany Body with Maple Top

Classic Les Paul construction with a non-weight-relieved mahogany body paired with an AA figured maple top. This combo gives you a thick, resonant low-end from the mahogany, while the maple adds clarity, snap, and a sharper attack that helps notes cut through a mix without losing warmth.

Stable Hardware System

ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece provide strong sustain and solid intonation, supported by Grover Rotomatic tuners and a Graph Tech nut for tuning stability. Together, they keep the guitar reliable under heavy playing and frequent tuning changes.
