AlphaTheta euphonia

Euphonia combines analog warmth with digital precision using 32-bit A/D and D/A converters plus 96kHz/64-bit floating-point DSP for rich, detailed sound. AlphaTheta designed custom knobs with elastomer coating that eliminates vibration while maximizing comfort and grip for reliable, precise control. These knobs have dynamic architecture that changes based on how much pressure you apply - slower rotations are weighted for ultra-fine control in long blends, while faster rotations match your movement speed for sharp, expressive performances.

Euphonia honors classic DJing with comprehensive controls for complete sonic control. Each channel has trim control, level meter, 3-band EQ, cue button, and send knob, plus a 4-point input selector for phono, line, digital, or computer sources. A dedicated 2-band EQ and level knob controls booth output, while headphones can switch between stereo and mono split (for in-ear monitors, this plays cued audio in one ear and master in the other). The vivid display shows real-time feedback with VU meters and a spectral analyzer for detailed sound analysis. Each channel is color-coded so you can see how all frequency bands interact across the entire mix.

All sound from the euphonia goes through a transformer circuit co-designed by AlphaTheta and Rupert Neve Designs, the legendary makers of top-tier analog audio gear used by artists and engineers worldwide. This transformer, tuned specifically for euphonia, adds harmonics that create a glossy, energetic sound that's smoother for mixing. Low frequencies like kicks and bass become more stable and punchy, mids like vocals and instruments gain more presence and gloss, and highs like hi-hats sound silky and natural. The transformer bridges vintage live and modern electronic sounds, making mixing easier and more natural - as if different recording styles were originally one piece of music.
