Product Overview

Embrace stealthy, modern metal aesthetics and aggressive high-gain power with the Ibanez GRG131EX Black Flat. Built with a lightweight Poplar body, fast GRG maple neck, and a bound Purpleheart fretboard loaded with 24 jumbo frets, this all-black GIO series guitar delivers lightning-fast playability for riffs and solos alike. Complete with high-output dual Infinity R ceramic humbuckers, a rock-solid F106 fixed bridge, and all-black hardware, the GRG131EX provides serious tonal firepower at an unbeatable value.

Maple neck

The Maple neck provides stability and bright tonal character.

Purpleheart fretboard

The Purpleheart fretboard emphasizes the beauty and the rich tonal character of this guitar.

Mono-unit output jack

The mono-unit output jack is made of solid, durable material and is a single piece to avoid unwanted movement and loosening of the jack, which leads to contact failure or disconnection. This innovation allows for long term playing enjoyment and minimal maintenance.

F106 bridge

The F106 bridge enriches sustain. String height adjustment can be done easily and independently.

Infinity R H-H pickups

Ibanez Infinity pickups deliver an accurate and tight sound with excellent dynamics. Even under heavy settings, they do not lose tonal clarity.
