Great remixes need perfect buildups and breakdowns, so the RMX-1000 focuses on these techniques. The SCENE FX section has five buildup effects and five breakdown effects, each with its own button. One large knob controls the wet/dry mix, and two smaller knobs let you adjust effects in real-time. This makes it simple to control effects without confusing menus or complicated settings.

ISOLATE FX section lets you add cool rhythmical elements to your remixes

Buildups and breakdowns are just part of what makes great remixes - you also need interesting rhythmic elements. The RMX-1000's ISOLATE FX section combines a 3-band EQ with cool effects like beat roll, hard gate, and overdrive. You can run either the main input or the X-PAD FX through this section, giving you tons of rhythmic effects and real-time sound control.

X-PAD FX lets you easily add original samples to your mix

The X-PAD FX section is a simple but powerful sample player that makes adding personal touches to remixes easy. It includes built-in kick, snare, clap, and hi-hat sounds, plus you can load your own samples from an SD card and trigger them anytime. With a touch strip and pitch knob, manipulating samples in real-time is simple.

Customize effects with included remixbox software

The RMX-1000 offers lots of surface-level control, but there's even more customization available underneath. Pioneer Pro DJ's free remixbox software lets you dive deeper into your RMX-1000, tweaking effects and creating custom settings.
